
Tripoli International Airport
Sept 15 (Reuters) – Canadian engineering and construction firm SNC-Lavalin Group Inc (SNC.TO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said it got a contract for procurement and construction of an airport at Benghazi, Libya, for about C$500 million.
The contract for the airport includes construction of a new international terminal, runway and apron, the company said.
The airport, with a capacity of 5 million passengers a year, is expected to be completely built in 2010.
Shares of the company were down C$1.30 at C$42.75 in morning trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange. (Reporting by Anurag Kotoky in Bangalore;
