For your information:
Iphone is not sold any where expect the U.S. Will start selling in Europe by end of the year. You can only buy Iphone with an AT&T 2 year subscription contract, so you will end up paying a lot of money for it that is if you can have a friend or relative who is a resident in the U.S and even if you get it after paying the phone price+2 year subscription plan you will get a locked phone that only works on the AT&T network, you will need to send it to a specialist to unlock it and then it can work on any GSM network.

Wimax To Be Released Soon in Tripoli
September 23, 2008I took a longer time then promised, but we must not be greedy, it’s ramadan and everything works slower or even stops for a break, LTT actualy started to plant Wimax stations all over Tripoli, and some companies in Dahra are actually beta testing the Wimax service, the information leaked in Libyan forums says that the price will be 50 LYD for a speed of 1MB/S and that the speed rate could be up to 16MB/S, anyway this still rumor yet we need to wait to know how much really it’s going to cost and is it really as fast as 1-16MB/s.

TRIPOLI: Chinese telecom firms Huawei and ZTE have won contracts worth $75 million to expand the mobile phone network in Libya, the state-run telecommunications office said yesterday.

In line with a second contract worth $17m, Huwaei alone will install the first phase of a fibre-optic network in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.
An Angry Blogger Attacks LTT
September 10, 2008By the date khadija wrote the post “LTT SUCKS” I believe they offered the service of buying extra Gig’s as she said, means “Extra Bandwidth” instead of asking or reading she just started attacking the company.
My reply is that LTT offered Adsl which changed a lot in this country giving access with cheap price and fair speed even if they didn’t offer the ability to buy more gigs before the end of the month they still a good company around.
nothing personal Khadija but your old post affect’s the good work, stop random blogging READ MORE, use less ink if you know what I mean.
SAGEM F@st™ 2400/2404 ADSL modem security thread in Libya
August 9, 2008When you subscribe to this service your phone line is connected to the LTT’s equipments which are located through out the phone company’s switches, which enables you accessing the Internet and making phones calls at the same time. We’ll supply you with ADSL modem that you can use to connect your PC to the Internet.
Nowadays they even provide you with a Sagem Modem that have wireless and network ports so it’s also a router and an access point, that’s great but it is a security thread since not all clients will secure the wireless with an access key.
This is a big problem since anyone can connect to your router may be your neighborhood and steal your bandwidth and so your money, even if you don’t care about people using your internet you must care about them playing in your setting, that wouldn’t be nice, as they can also steal your login and password that LTT provided you in the contract.
If you have this router as seen on the image:

SAGEM F@st™ 2400 / 2404
then please follow these steps to secure and protect your internet connection.
1- In your web browser type in: “http://myrouter” and press “Enter”
2- If you didn’t setup a password before type in username: “admin” and password: “admin” as it’s the default user name and password.
3- Go to wireless setting.
4- Click on generate to generate a random password “You must be connected using LAN since this will disconnect you if you are over wireless and you wont see the new password”, Or type in a manual password like your phone number that’s an easy thing to guess lol.
Thats all for now, best regards.
As said by trusted resources LTT Wimax service will be available in 1st of December 2008.
